What to Wear: Valentine’s Day

Yesterday we covered what to wear on a date night out with your beau, but maybe those aren’t your Valentine’s Day plans… Ultimately, you should be spending time with those you love, so here are some additional outfit ideas if you’re not planning on a romantic evening out on the town: Valentine's Day What to Wear Friends Family

DINNER WITH FAMILY: Maybe your plan is to give Grandma a night off and cook dinner for your family. If so, try wearing something soft and feminine to remind them that you’re still their “little girl.”

1. Floral Garnet Hill Sweater // 2. J. Crew Toothpick Jean // 3. Pink Tieks

Menu: Chicken in Garlic Gravy, Smashed Potatoes, Pancetta Brussel Sprouts, 7-Up Biscuits, & Red Velvet Cobbler for dessert.

ROMANTIC DINNER IN: Valentine’s Day is one of the busiest restaurant nights of the year, so maybe you would rather avoid the crowd. It can be really fun to cook together anyway, but wear something with layers so that as the evening progresses you can give him a peek at what’s underneath 😉

4. Boden Cardigan // 5. Beaded Dress //6. Grey Heels

Menu: Steaks with Compound Butter, Roasted Asparagus w/ Mushrooms, Hasselback Potatoes, & Chocolate Covered Strawberries for dessert.

OUT WITH FRIENDS: Through all of your bad dates and broken hearts, it’s your friends that have been there for you. So, instead of having a kitchen to clean (because that’s no fun with a hangover) Go out with your original true loves, your girl friends, and party the night away wearing some of those clothes that females love and guys just don’t understand.

7. Polka Dot Peplum Top // 8. GAP Deconstructed Black Jeans // 9. TOMS Basket Weave Booties
