I can trace my love for music back to “Rocky Raccoon” by a little band called… The Beatles 😉 I have very fond memories of my dad playing it on guitar and bringing me my very first CD – The White Album. To this day, it still pulls emotion out of me: sometimes it fills me with so much joy I can’t help but sing along, and other times I listen to it and cry because it reminds me of all the things I’ve lost. Needless to say, it’s not a song I can listen to every day but I definitely break it out when I need it.
