It’s that weird weather time here in South Georgia – where the day time temperature jumps around between 55-85 degrees. There are days when it’s chilly in the morning, warm-ish during the day, and chilly again at night. A lot of people have a hard time dressing for such weather, but the conundrum is easily solved with the right attire. Our Wild Souls “Outfit of the Day” addresses this semi-chilly weather issue while staying true to the feeling of Spring.
Up & Away Sweater: by Sugarhill Boutique is made of 100% cotton and is so lightweight it feels more like a heavy t-shirt than a sweater. Details like three-quarter sleeves, a Peter Pan collar, and a Hot Air Balloon print make the sweater perfect for Spring.
Linen Pants in Coral: The linen-viscose blend doesn’t wrinkle like pure linen and the foldover waistband is made of a really soft jersey knit that keeps you comfortable all day.
This white fitted dress with horizontal black stripes is a modern take on a Parisian classic… Fit for all of your world travels; just imagine yourself strolling along the banks of the River Seine before having an espresso and croissant at Cafe de Flore. This soft jersey dress will be chic and comfortable for the airplane ride to dinner out and every adventure in between… Three-quarter sleeves are great for all climates and rounded shirtail hem is very flattering to the leg.
Spring into Summer: Wear with your favorite wedges and a long necklace.
Fall into Winter: Wear with leggings, red wellies, a denim jacket, and a scarf.
When I was growing up my family always went to the beach for Easter weekend. While most of my friends got a new dress and a pair of shoes, I got a new bathing suit. Maybe it seems a little unorthodox for some people, but that’s how it was for me 😉 We’d book a room at Jekyll Island (and so would our family friends) and spend the weekend riding our bikes, boogie-boarding, and eating large quantities of fresh shrimp and homemade ice cream.
Now that I’m “all-grown-up” I fully-embrace the traditions of Easter, and all that comes with it… Spring is in the air, flowers are blooming, the weather is warmer – It’s a great time to break out with something new 😉 Whether your Easter celebration takes place in a church, over barbecue and fried chicken, or on at the beach – This adorable ensemble from Wild Souls is sure to fuel your Spring Fever.
Ducky Love Blouse: This adorable top by Sugarhill Boutique features 3/4 sleeves and lovely little tulip back.
Sage Green Skirt: Full skirt with elastic in back, cream piping, and hidden side pockets.
With Coachella going on this weekend, I thought I would take the opportunity to post about one of my favorite trends. Seen mostly on the beach and at festivals – the lace pants trend is soooooo hot for Spring! Some people wonder “how” to wear lace pants, so I’ve composed some of my favorite “looks”. Hit: A well-placed pair of shorties can take these from the beach to the street 😉

Our Outfit of the Day at Wild Souls is a perfect example of the rule “fit at the bottom, flow at the top”. We’ve paired our stretchy “Mustard Jeggings” and “Navy Swing Top” and threw on some great necklaces for layering 😉
Our Wild Souls Outfit of the Day features another pairing with our coveted Palazzo Pants made of stretchy and comfortable fabric with a foldover waistband and unfinished bottoms that you can cut to the appropriate length 😉 Here we’ve paired our “Spirit of the Southwest Palazzo Pants” with our “Top With Tails” in black.
I love mixing feminine pieces with structured pieces, so today we’ve paired our “Boho Babe Tunic” with “Pixie Pants“. The tunic is very feminine and soft with a babydoll silhouette and lace around the bottom while the pants have a more structured-rocker edge in dark black with zippers at the ankle.
